I can't remember a spring like this, with endless blue skies and warm winds. After the terrible winter the plants seemed late for a while. But they've overtaken themselves and are now ahead of the game it seems. Today Buns and Bunting provided teas for a happy springtime event at the First Garden City museum. We set up in the beautiful gardens, where a storyteller was also on offer, and it did look rather magical, as you can see from the pictures. But don't fret if you missed out this time as we will be back for the May bank holiday (Sunday May 1st) for Ye Olde May Festival, and i think there'll be music and dancing and obviously the most delicious cakes and exquisite china in the home counties for all to enjoy.
